THE YEDIDIM CENTER—THEIR EMOTIONAL HOME WHEN ILLNESS DEVASTATES THEIR HOME LIFE

A dark cloud descends over everyone in the home. Days are lifeless and nights are sleepless. The children are home but they are not home. Tatty and Mommy tear themselves to pieces trying to keep things normal, but life at home hasn’t been normal since the dark day their sibling was first taken to the hospital.

Try as they might, that one patient has turned all their lives upside down. Who knows what the future holds—that’s for the doctors and the Sefer Tehilim—but the present is crushing them emotionally and physically, and the burden gets heavier by the day.

Those who have experienced or witnessed such heartbreak will never forget what it’s like, and those who haven’t, never should. What’s worse, the impact can often last a lifetime.

Who is there for the devastated children during this period? In Kiryas Yoel and beyond, the one-word answer is Yedidim! The tireless and devoted volunteers of Yedidim step up for the affected children with a comprehensive list of services geared towards improving their well-being and providing for their many needs.

From therapy to other forms of emotional support, exciting programs to uplifting Shabbatons, and family transportation to everyday play, the organization is there in every way possible.

Yedidim has grown by leaps and bounds in recent years and the services are spread out across town. The time has come for a Yedidim center to be built that will host the children in one accommodating space and provide all their needs in an efficient and successful manner.

But the costs of this undertaking are enormous and the support of the community is urgently needed to crown this project with success. By taking part in this mission, you will have a direct role in positively transforming the lives of families in their most vulnerable state!

אנדערש ווי אין א געווענליכע יאר טראגט דער יעצטיגער "ידידים קאמפיין" א דאפעלטער ציל; פאר וועלכע מ'איז דרינגענד-וויכטיג אנגעוויזן אויף אייער "פארברייטערטע הילף".

צו שאפן א עקסטערע 1.5 מיליאן דאלאר אויף צו קענען קלאוזן אויפ'ן נייעם גרויסארטיגן "ידידים צענטער" אין די גלילות קרית יואל, און רענאווירן דעם בנין אויף צו קענען אריינברענגען אין באנוץ פילע וויכטיגע סערוויסעס לטובת די חולי ישראל ומשפחותיהן אונטער איין דאך!
צו שאפן עקסטערע גרויסע סכומים מער ווי אין די פארגאנגענהייט, פשוט אויף צו קענען דעקן די 'פארברייטערטע' בודזשעט וואס איז זייער געשפרונגען אין די לעצטע תקופה.

תשפ"ג איז נישט די זעלבע ווי ביז היינט; די ליסט פון חולי ישראל און פארצווייפלטע משפחות וואס דארפן ליידער צוקומען צו די סערוויסעס פון 'ידידים' האט זיך שטארק "פארברייטערט" ה"י!

אזויפיל אומשולדיגע יונגע קינדערלעך געפינען זיך ל"ע אין שפיטאל אדער צוגעבינדן צום בעט אין שטוב און קוקן ארויס אויף די ווארימע באגלייטונג פון 'ידידים'!

אין אזא פינסטערע מצב איז 'ידידים' זייער שטראל פון האפענונג צו קענען דורכשווימען די שווערע צייטן, מאפילה לאורה.
