The Cholim of Eretz Yisroel Are Turning to Us

Sadly, hearing the heartbreaking news that one of our brothers or sisters in Eretz Yisroel is suffering with the dreaded disease is not an uncommon occurrence.

These unfortunate people are facing months of difficult testing, painful procedures, and harrowing treatments. There are many obstacles along the road to recovery. Entire families have their lives turned upside down as they deal with their new reality.

They need our help and support – financially, emotionally and practically - to navigate the perilous road ahead.

RCY Answers The Call

Rofeh Cholim Yerushalayim (RCY) – a branch of Rofeh Cholim Cancer Society (RCCS) – was founded with a goal of providing cancer patients in Israel with all the services RCCS offers their counterparts in the United States.

RCY is there for cholei Eretz Yisroel every step of the way. They assist them in navigating the bureaucracy of the Israeli health care system, finding the best doctors, obtaining access to the necessary tests, procuring spots in the top medical facilities, arranging treatments, and expediting every part of the process of emerging from dark hopelessness to a brighter future. Every cancer patient in Israel can be assured that RCY will make sure they receive the best care in the most expedient manner.

Not only does RCY stand at the side of the patient, they also provide the family with whatever they need to remain afloat during this difficult time, granting them an array of services to assist with their finances, emotional wellbeing and practical state of affairs.

No Patient Left Behind

In the last year alone, RCY has help 1,325 patients in Eretz Yisroel, of whom 780 were newly diagnosed with cancer. Boruch Hashem, many are now on the road to making a full recovery.

אבער צום באדויערן האט "רופא חולים ירושלים" איינגעזען, אז נישט נאר דעם חולה אליין דארף מען ארויסהעלפן, נאר זיין גאנצע משפחה גייט נעבעך צוגרינד צוליב דעם שרעקליכן מחלה, דעריבער האבן זיי גע'עפנט פילצאליגע סערוויסעס צו שטיין צו די רעכטע האנט בכל עת ובכל שעה, נישט בלויז פאר חולה אליין, נאר אויך פאר זיין גאנצע משפחה, סיי מיט פינאנציעלע הילף, און סיי מיט יעוץ, חיזוק, והדרכה.

לדאבון לב מדובר בתופעה יומיומית קורעת לב אצל אחינו ואחיותינו בארה"ק המתמודדים עם המחלה הנוראה ל"ע.

עומדים הם וכוססים צפרניים בלחץ ואימה ככה מצפים הם חדשים ארוכים לבדיקות רפואיות רגילות...

לא זו אף זו, אין ספור קשיים שמגיעות בעקבות מערכות הבריאות בארץ, שבועות וחדשים ארוכים עוברים כדי שיוכלו לקבל אבחונים באמצעות בדיקת אם אר איי או שאר בדיקות דחופים, לרופאים הטובים ביותר אי אפשר להגיע רק באמצעות כסף מזומן, אין ספור תרופות ובדיקות שאינם מכוסים בסל הבריאות, ועוד ועוד.

ירושלים בכו לא תבכה

"רופא חולים ירושלים" נתייסדה בדיוק למטרה זו, לעזור ולסייע להתגבר על הקשיים הבירוקרטיים, ולעזור להגיע לרופאים, אבחונים, ומרפאות במהירות, ולהבטיח שכל יהודי שסובל ל"ע מהמחלה הנוראה מקבל את הטיפולים הנדרשים בזמן הכי מהיר.

אבל לדאבון כל לב הבינו והפנימו ב'רופא חולים ירושלים' שחייבים לעזור לא רק לחולה בעצמו, אלא את כל משפחתו שהולכים לאבדון וקורסים בעקבות מצבו הקשה של החולה, לאור זאת פתחו הרבה סוגי עזרה לעמוד לימין המשפחה בכל עת ובכל שעה, לא רק עבור החולה עצמו, אלא לכל משפחתו, הן בעזרה כלכלית והן ביעוץ, חיזוק והדרכה.

בשנה האחרונה בלבד טופלו על ידינו 1325 לקוחות באמצעות 25 מומחי 'רופא חולים ירושלים', מתוכם למרבה הכאב 780 היו מאובחנים חדשים. ותודות לעבודה הבלתי נלאית של 'רופא חולים ירושלים' כבר זכינו להשתתף באלפי 'סעודות הודאה' שנערכו מאז התייסדות הארגון.

יהודים יקרים! אחינו בארה"ק מדממים! "רופא חולים ירושלים" אין לה שום הכנסה, ואנחנו חייבים לעזור להם לעמוד על הרגליים עם גב כלכלית עוצמתית.

Dear Brothers!

Sadly, we have recently seen a great increase in the number of cancer cases across the entire world.

The Jewish people are in great need of much Heavenly mercy. May Hashem help us.

In America, it is easier to get access to the newest medical treatments, although the costs of such treatment is very high. In Eretz Yisroel, however, the costs are outrageously exorbitant. Therefore, the many indigent residents of Eretz Yisroel are depending on your charity and kindness. They are hanging onto the precipice between life and death and pleading to us for emergency assistance.

Please, have mercy on them! Allow them to also have access to the newest medical treatments.

We are currently in need of a sum of $10 million to provide the best treatments and services for the cancer patients of Eretz Yisroel. With this sum, we will be able to save their lives, b’ezras Hashem.

Now, as we prepare to enter the Holy Days of Rosh Hashanah and Yom Kippur, open your hearts and donate generously to the organization that serves as the agent for cholei Yisroel.
