Khal D'Brookwood

In 2016, Brookwood I, a neighborhood in Jackson NJ, began a metamorphosis as the first frum families began buying homes just over the Lakewood border. Since then, our neighborhood has experienced explosive growth, with hundreds of young families establishing an incredibly warm and cohesive community.

K’hal D’brookwood was established by the first families, in a community member’s home. As we outgrew that limited space, we then began renting out the auditorium of a local school until the COVID lockdown in March 2020. Our shul is currently located in a small house as we build a respectable building for our mikdash me’at on a second property.

The Shul we are presently davening in, does not have enough space to seat our members who come to daven on Shabbos, only a very small Ezras Nashim and no place for the children who are growing up and belong joining their fathers in shul.

With our Rov, Rav Eliyahu Friedman shlit”a at its helm, our shul is constantly pulsating with kol torah and tefillah. With numerous daily minyanim, a morning kollel, a night Kollel, Daf Yomi Shiurim, a daily Halacha Shiur and additional shiurim on Shabbos along with vibrant learning all hours of the day.

Construction is underway for our new Shul building and it is with much anticipation that we watch the construction progress. Over the past 2 years, our kehillah, along with generous donors, have extended themselves to bring our shul building fund this far. Now as our goal seems so close, we turn to you and ask for your generous support to help us actualize our dream.
