HE WAS THEIR EVERYTHING.

NOW… MOSHE EINENU.

Moshe Hildesheim, a”h, was more than a breadwinner and a loyal father. He personified what it means to guide a family emotionally, spiritually, and materially. As the rock of his beautiful home, he inspired his children to lead lives of Torah and yiras Shamayim and was well on his way to enjoying a long life of Yiddishe nachas.

But then tragedy struck. This enthusiastic and ambitious father, an exemplar of ahavas Torah and righteous living, was taken from those he loved after a years-long battle with the bitereh machla. At first, no one knew he was sick because he refused to allow his children and those around him to suffer. But when the illness returned with ferocious force, the Moshe everyone knew was lost. Moshe Einenu.

Moshe’s Midwestern background fused with a fiery Chasidish passion, were the foundation on which he built his home in Brooklyn together with his eishes chayil. He learned in kollel as long as was feasible and then joined the workforce to provide for his family. His children—the youngest of whom is just 11 months old!—adored their doting father. And he loved them back even more.

The void he left behind can never be filled. The lives of the 7 yesomim will never be the same. But in our grief, we cannot forget the material impact of his passing. A mother with 7 youngsters was left alone, and it’s the community’s responsibility to stand beside them in a long-lasting manner, far after the headlines have moved on.

The “Moshe Einenu” campaign is our one-time opportunity to set the family on secure footing for their difficult journey ahead. Their Father in Shamayim, the Avi Yesomim, will surely repay those who look out for His dear children.

שקעה השמש בצהרים. א צער האט ארומגענומען יעדן איינעם, הערנדיג איבער די פריצייטיגע פטירה פון האי גברא יקירא, הרה"ח ר' משה הילדסהיים ע"ה מחשובי חסידי גור אין בארא פארק, וואס איז געווען ברייט-באקאנט מיט זיין זעלטענע איידלקייט, ער איז געזעסן און געלערנט פלייסיג פאר לאנגע יארן. ער האט ב"ה זוכה געווען אויפצושטעלן א הערליכע משפחה פון לעכטיגע קינדער יראים ושלמים. ר' משה איז געווען א דוגמא פון קבלת יסורים באהבה, כאטש ער האט אזויפיל מיטגעמאכט אין זיינע יארן, ווי ער האט געליטן א לענגערע צייט אויפן ביטערן מחלה רח"ל, איז ער שטענדיג ארומגעגאנגען מיט א שמייכל, און מחזק געווען אלע זיינע ארומיגע. ליידער איז באשערט געווען אז ער זאל אוועקגעריסן ווערן פון אונז אין זיין יונגע עלטער.

גדול כים שברך. ווי נאר עס איז ארויס די בשורה פון זיין פטירה, האט ארומגענומען א טרויער ביי אלע זיינע באקאנטע. אלע האבן באוויינט די הערליכע בלום וואס איז אזוי פריצייטיג אוועקגעריסן געווארן פון אונז, אין זיינע שענסטע יארן, איבערלאזנדיג נאך זיך 7 לעכטיגע יתומים, וואס קיינער פון זיי האט נאכנישט חתונה געהאט. די רירנדע בכיות פון די פילע באטייליגטע ביים הארצרייסנדע לוי', האט ארויסגעוויזן וואס דער חשוב'ער נפטר האט געמיינט פאר זיינע באקאנטע.די גרעסטע צער איז ווי פארשטענדליך זיין חשוב'ע משפחה, די אלמנה מיט די 7 יתומים, וואס זענען ליידער געבליבן אליין אויפן וואסער, אן קיין ברויט-פארזארגער, מיט א חלל וואס מען וועט נישט קענען צוריקשטעלן.

עס איז זיכער אז בשכר זאת וועלן מיר זוכה זיין אז 'מי שאמר לעולמו די יאמר לצרותינו די', און מען וועט נאר הערן גוטע בשורות המשמחים את הלבבות.
