Bais Medrash of Elmwood was founded over 16 years ago when the Elmwood Village development was built.

Under the leadership of our esteemed Rav, הרב רפאל קאפס שליט״א, not only has the neighborhood grown exponentially, but the original group of families have also grown to outgrow the original building.

We do not only serve our families, but the broader neighborhood as well. Our Bais Medrash is always open to anyone who wants to come and learn, the doors are never locked. Our fully stocked Otzar is used by lomdim from surrounding areas due to its size and breadth of seforim. We have a morning Kollel, Night Kollel and tens of boys learning each night.

As a community grows, so do their needs. As we start making more and more simchos, Bezras Hashem, a place is needed to accommodate making a simcha. It has become apparent that there are no affordable options in the area to make a simcha. Our expansion includes a simcha hall in the basement to allow for affordable simchos to be made in an honorable fashion.

Our community is comprised of over 60% Yungerleit and Klei Kodesh, who are going beyond their capabilities to do what they can to help this campaign.
